VIRTUAL IOP · NORTH STATE
Virtual IOP in the North State
Kin Wellness runs a virtual intensive outpatient program for adults across the North State, from Chico, Oroville and Paradise to Redding and Anderson. An in person program can mean a long drive in the North State, so everything happens by video and you join from home or any private space.
Most major PPO and HMO plans. New clients can start right away.
FROM THE NORTH STATE
How it works from the North State
Groups by video
Three hour sessions of small group and individual care, three to five days a week, joined from home or any private space. No long drive on group days.
Everything else by video too
Individual sessions, EMDR and medication appointments with Dr. Joe DeSanto, MD all happen by video. Our office is in Fountain Valley, in Orange County, if you ever want to meet in person, but nothing requires it.
Stepping down from a higher level of care
Many people come to us after residential treatment or a partial hospitalization program. We coordinate the step down directly with your current program, wherever it is, so there is no gap in care.

WHAT YOUR WEEK LOOKS LIKE
What a week in the program looks like
MORNING TRACK
9:00 AM to 12:00 PM Pacific, Monday through Friday. Three hour sessions of small groups led by licensed clinicians. Some groups teach skills you can use that same week, some explain what is happening in your mind and body, and some are space to talk through what is going on.
EVENING TRACK
5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Pacific, Monday through Friday, for people who work during the day. The same groups as the morning track, so you do not miss anything by choosing the evening.
AROUND THE GROUPS
Individual sessions with your therapist at least once a week, a treatment plan built around your goals, and medication management if it is part of your care. How medication management works
